Xenical Orlistat Diet Drug
Xenical Prescription Diet Pill
Xenical is a drug classed, tablet form medication that has become the de facto or default diet pill prescribed by a majority or GP’s and doctors around the globe for a number of years.
Xenical is the brand name for Orlistat – a powerful fat blocking inhibitor produced specifically to combat obesity after all other, more natural attempts have failed.
It is not available to purchase legally or legitimately in many countries and it is not available simply on request – a GP or doctor will not prescribe to a patient on vanity or cosmetic grounds.

What Is Xenical
As described above, Xenical contains the active ingredient Orlistat – 120mg. Orlistat is present in only one other weight loss product, the new self professed “miracle diet pill” Alli, albeit in a much lower dosage. More about Alli
How Does Xenical Work
Xenical is a fat blocker that can prevent a portion of fat from food consumed from being digested by your stomach. A percentage of the fat consumed from your food will be stopped or blocked from being absorbed into your body.
In the digestive system there are enzymes called Lipase’s – these help to break down the fat.
When Xenical is taken with food it will attach itself to the lipase’s and stops them from digesting the food that you have eaten.
The theory is relatively simple – an estimated 27% of dietary fat is blocked at source, this undigested fat can then pass naturally through the body and leave via a bowel movements.
There is nothing complicated in the process – if a dieter were eat his or her normal or usual food portion they would be better off by just over a quarter in terms of introducing fat or calories of any kind into their body.
Xenical Side Effects
The theory behind Xenical is ideal, however there is one rather dark and negative side.
It would be irresponsible not to highlight the potential side effects that could occur – after all Xenical is a drug and not a natural or herbal product and so does contain a slight risk to health.
A minor side effect that is a usual occurrence but to be expected is an increase in the frequency of bowel movements. Some users complain of a runny stool issue.
Some rather more side effects have been documented including: allergic reaction, hives and abdominal pain.
Does Xenical Work
Diet pills that stop or prevent the absorption of dietary fat are extremely effective – Xenical is highly regarded amongst the medical fraternity.
Where To Buy Xenical
Xenical is not available to buy over the counter. However Xenical can be purchased via the internet but it is advised against as the chances are high that you could unwittingly be purchasing a fraudulent product.
Xenical is prescription only for a reason – it is a powerful diet drug and so should not be entered into lightly and not without GP or doctor supervision.
Alternative Fat Stopping Diet Pills
Proactol is natural fat binder that shares many characteristics with Xenical. Proactol is the natural equivalent and a the non prescription alternative.
Proactol is a fat binder and so binds rather than blocks fat – fat binders are less likely to cause the runny stool issue and less likely to cause an adverse reaction.
Proactol was one of the most successful slimming products of 2008 and 2009 and was recently voted best fat binder in a survey participated in successful slimmers undertaken by the Telegraph newspaper.
Proactol is clinically proven for both effect and safety and is classified as Medical Device Type 1.
