Post CAPSIPLEX - does it work?

The simple answer to the question is … ‘NO’ .. unfortunately. Capsiplex, like many other weigh loss products and pills and potions on the market makes claims that simply do not live up to expectations. Like thousands of the ‘horizontally challenged’ amongst us, I ordered Capsiplex prior to it’s official release in the UK recently. I ordered it direct from Capsiplex itself and waited an age to receive it … when it did arrive, it soon became yet another bottle on the shelf of miracle weight loss cures that I have tried over the years that never worked. I’ve tried most of them and followed many of the ‘fad’ diets that purport to make weight loss ‘easy’ …. I’ve had Original Hoodia, Xenical/Orlistat (now more commonly known as ‘Ali’), Reductil (which made me quite ill) and I’ve followed the Atkins diet, the Cambridge Diet, LighterLife, the Soup Diet … and many more, too numerous to mention. The simple fact is that none of them work effectively as a healthy weight loss programme which can be sustained and maintained to keep the weight off.

Despite us all yearning for a miracle cure to our weight woes and worries, I think the more inteligent among us know deep down that there is only one way to lose weight and keep it in check and that is to reduce calories/fat, by following a healthy, balanced diet of at least 3 meals a day, drink plenty of water and exercise more. It sounds so easy and yet it is not … it is not ‘rocket science’, but, at the same time, it is a challenge. The only way is to BURN OFF MORE ENERGY THAN YOU PUT IN … and it is a lifestyle change and one we need to be committed to. The longer you manage to stay on a healthy regime like this, the easier it becomes and, like anything, the body becomes used to it and the mind also … and, lets face it, it is a case of mind over matter when the going gets tough.

I’ve had it now with all these scam diets … I am a knowledgeable woman in the area of nutrition and should know better than to fall for the constant scams and miracle claims that try to hook us in. Weight loss and dieting are a multi-billion pound industry and having tried everything to lose weight, I know in my heart of hearts that all I’m doing is making some scammer’s wallet even fatter. It’s so easy to make a claim that ‘Britney Spears’ has lost loads of weight by this method … or Paris Hilton maintains her trim figure by using Hoodia …. I cannot believe that I used to fall for it every time. On the other side of the coin, I have lost weight (and a significant amount at that), by following a sensible, steady, healthy balanced diet of 3 meals a day, taking in plenty of water/liquid and upping my exercise levels. I feel great all round … I feel in control, less stressed, I sleep better and have heaps of energy and I know that my regime is safe and effective and isn’t breaking the bank.

So, to conclude, all I would say is forget searching for that Miracle ‘cure’ as there isn’t one and never will be. Yes, it’s an individual thing and I’m sure some people find these capsules, pills and potions work for them (and I would say that, in that case, it is more of a psycho-sematic thing if it does… almost like a placebo effect), but the key is to plan and prepare your meals and exercise ahead wherever possible, reduce your calorie/fat intake, up your exercise levels and hang on in there.

I hope my input may be of help to others.
