Body Mass Index – Calculate Your BMI
Calculating your BMI or Body Mass Index is a quick, easy and general guide that reveals the state of your health in relation to your weight and height.
The BMI calculator and subsequent results should only be used by adults. The results do not apply to children and pregnant or nursing mothers.
It is important to note that although the BMI calculator is a widely used tool is not an absolute guide and so should not be used as a medical diagnosis or scientific benchmarking. The results given do not take into consideration certain factors such as body shape or muscle density; ie. an athlete with a large muscle mass may have an unusual reading.
